Info Display

Info Display turns a locked voice channel into a live sign in the channel list. StageHand renames it on a timer so members can see the world date, custom text, or forum tag counts without joining the channel.

Quick start — dashboard

1. Open StageHand dashboard → Info Display (World Setup).
2. Add a slot, pick the voice channel StageHand may rename, and choose Template or Forum tags.
3. Save. Run /display refresh in Discord if you want an immediate update.

Template tokens

Template slots (and forum-tag templates, if you include them) support:

• {calendar} — in-fiction date from this server’s StageHand calendar
• {calendar_short} — compact in-fiction date (era abbreviation when set)
• {wall_date} — real-world date
• {birthdays_today} — comma-separated character names whose birthday is today; empty when nobody matches

Examples: 🎂 {birthdays_today} or {calendar} · {birthdays_today}. Discord caps the channel name at 100 characters, so a long birthday list is shortened.

Birthdays follow the same calendar / world / real-world rules as birthday reminders.
